After 4 years of Andy "recruiting" Laura to ride, she has finally committed to the David Browne Ride for 2008.

Laura "lemon bar" Reissmann was born and raised in the "saw" a.k.a Wausau, WI. After graduating from college at UWSP, she worked at the American Cancer Society for 6 years. In her time at ACS is where she met Andy and learned about Team242.

Laura has been involved, either riding or welcoming in the riders on the last day of the Dave Ride for the past 3 years. Each year when she sees David’s parents she would tell her self next year...next year... So now is the time - it is the year for her to be involved in the Team242 ride. She, like many of the riders, have had family and friends impacted by heart disease, most recently losing her grandfather in January 2008 to congestive heart failure. She feels fortunate to be part of the ride and raise funds for the American Heart Association.

In her spare time, you can find Laura spending time with friends, family and being active in the outdoors. Laura is currently employed as a Health Promotion Consultant at a local HMO in Madison and looks forward to being part of the Dream (and reality) of Team242!
