Larry Pischke will be making his first appearance with Team 242 this year. A retired science teacher who has been living in Wisconsin Rapids for the past 30 years or so, Larry will be delivering sustenance and emotional support to weary riders as the SAG-Master.
His daughter Amanda and son Isaac, both riders, are very excited to have him join in the celebration that is the Dave Ride. From early on, Larry instilled a love of cycling in his kids by taking them on fun family rides on the Elroy-Sparta trail or on a ride to the ice cream parlor.
In his retirement, Larry has been touring the region and country as a charter bus for Lamers bus lines. Team 242 couldn't be happier to have his expertise.
