Duane grew up in Germantown, WI before arriving at Beloit College in the fall of 1994. While at Beloit he became friends with David Browne. After graudated from Beloit in 1998 Duane retired from strenuous activity and merely serves as the Team 242 Webmaster. When he in not slaving away on the Team 242 Website he enjoys bowling, pitching horseshoes and playing the flugelhorn in The Freistadt Alte Kameraden Band. He has married his lovely wife Monica in September of 2000 and together they have two children - Mason (born in April 2003 and Madelyn (born in January 2006).
